Orologio Watch Materials and Construction

Since 2006, Orologio has produced watches using materials including 316L stainless steel, sapphire crystal, carbon fibre, natural mother-of-pearl, genuine diamonds, leather and silicone. Specifications vary by model and production period, with materials selected to suit each watch’s design, function and intended use.

Stainless-Steel Watch Cases and Bracelets

Orologio has used 304 and 316L stainless steel across different collections and production periods. 316L stainless steel combines durability with strong resistance to corrosion and is widely used throughout the premium watch industry. 304 stainless steel has been used for its strength, durability and resistance to everyday corrosion. It is particularly well suited to robust watch cases and solid-link bracelets. The grade of stainless steel used varies by model.

Sapphire Crystal

Selected Orologio watches have been fitted with sapphire crystal, valued for its clarity and exceptional resistance to scratching. Crystal specifications vary between models and production periods.

Carbon Fibre

Carbon fibre has featured in selected Orologio designs, creating a modern and technical appearance. Its distinctive woven pattern complements the sporting and motorsport-inspired character of these watches.

Natural Mother-of-Pearl Dials

Selected Orologio watches have featured dials made from natural mother of pearl. Each dial reflects light differently and displays individual variations in colour and pattern, ensuring that no two are precisely alike.

Genuine Natural Diamond Details

Genuine diamonds have been incorporated into selected Orologio watches as hour markers or decorative dial details, adding a refined finish to their contemporary designs.

Leather Watch Straps

Orologio has used genuine leather straps across dress, sports-luxury and everyday watches. Leather offers a comfortable fit and develops its own individual character through regular wear.

Silicone Watch Straps

Selected Orologio sports watches have featured flexible silicone straps. Silicone is comfortable, water resistant and well suited to active use and warm conditions.

Materials Vary by Model

Orologio has produced a broad selection of watches since its establishment in Australia in 2006. Materials and components used in earlier watches may differ from those used in current collections.
